Ordered the chile relleno lunch special. That tiny green thing in the corner of the plate is the pepper. It's literally a blob of meat and cheese, with a side of beans. I understand it's only 6 dollars, but poblano peppers are not made of gold. My wife's meal was equally as disappointing. Definitely not a 5 star mexican restaurant.

Never a bad experience! The owner is always friendly! The staff is extremely attentive! I love the lunch special, and the sweet tea is the best in Sumter,SC! The service is a quick one so if you are tight on time this place can get you in and out! The salsa is great! I recommend the speedy no red sauce add queso!

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but as far as Mexican food is concerned, this place does it the best! Their food is always consistent and cheap for feeding large parties. The cheese quesadilla tastes like a buttery grilled cheese sandwich (for your picky eaters). You can't beat the fast service either. Your food is out on the table 10 minutes after you order. They have a very large menu with many combos and specials. There is really something for everyone here!

Great rich salsa, everything tastes clean and fresh. The whole fried tilapia with fresh veggies and corn tortillas with rice and beans are amazing. Fantastic Margaritas!!

The service at Yucatán was fast and friendly; however, the food was subpar at best. If you are looking for traditional Mexican food then you should look elsewhere . The fajitas were like eating shoe leather and they attempted to keep the meat from drying out by putting chip salsa on while cooking. Fajita meat should be made with skirt steak and grilled over an open flame. Their choice of meat was the cheapest, toughest cut they could find and cooked on a grill top. They also come up short on the onions and bell peppers. They were over cooked and slimy. For the price they were asking for these offerings they should have been a lot better. Oh yeah. Every Mexican restaurant that I’ve tried has always served a side of refried beans and rice. This came with some tortilla chips with beans and some cheese. Would we eat here again. Absolutely not. Was a waste of money. Was it clean and friendly sure. For those looking for something a little better than Taco Bell then have at it.

I'm 45. I travel all over the country for a living. Stopped at some outstanding Mexican restaurants in Texas. Steak too obviously. The food here is some of the best I've ever had. The Steak ranchero is one of the best steaks ever. You can nit pick any restaurant, but overall this is one of the best Mexican places I've ever been too. I'm not even a huge fan of Mexican food, but I'll eat here anytime.PS. By the way, look over the reviews. There's like 2 people that didn't like it. Everybody else is 4 star or better.
